Joseph of Genesis - Led by Carl Gambs
Many 21st century Christians find themselves working in large secular organizations. Joseph is one of the few Biblical characters with a similar role. He also demonstrated a consistent faith in his God, and a consistent pattern of giving God the credit for his accomplishments. The goals of the program are to help Christians gain a better understanding of Islam, to learn ways of interacting constructively with Muslims who are in our culture, and to help them understand the message of the gospel. The course includes an informative study guide, a DVD series and class discussion. A cost of $10 per person covers the study guide. Local guest speakers who reach out to Muslims will help us refine our approach to Muslim neighbors.

Conversations with God - Led by Tom Ashbrook & Roy Graham
When is the last time you heard from God? No kidding, what did He say? Prayer is supposed to be a conversation with God -- two-way. But for many of us, prayer feels more like monologue: we talk, God listens, hopefully. This ten-week session will focus on the listening side of the prayer equation. While God has and can speak audibly, it usually isn't that simple. Is it God who makes it hard, or can we learn to have "ears that hear" and "eyes that see?" If you are completely satisfied with your prayer life, this class isn't for you. But if you feel like you may have some wax in your spiritual ears, you'll feel right at home. Let's learn together from Scripture and historical leaders about how to listen to God... with the heart.
