Many Centennial leaders felt led last Fall (2007) to draw as many of us as possible into seeking God’s fresh direction for our future life and ministries together. As a “catalyst” for this important need, our Church Council has gathered a “Discernment Team” with the following commission:

To serve 6-12 months to seek fresh discernment and articulation of God’s overall direction for Centennial’s future ministries:

·        exercising dependent prayer;

·        relying on participation and input from many ministry leaders, pastoral staff and as many as possible in the church family;

·        giving attention especially to priority issues identified at Fall retreats;

·        making recommendations to leaders and congregation for testing and implementation.

Feel free to contact any of them with questions, suggestions, or your sense of God’s desires for Centennial. Everything you share will be passed on for consideration by the whole Team.

Above all, please pray that together “our love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that we may be able to discern what is best, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ -- to the glory and praise of God” (from Philippians 1:9-11)
